Dr. Morris became IAMG’s Medical Director at Corona Regional Medical Center last year and has been working with OR leadership and staff to help create a wonderful OR environment. Some of her current projects include developing and implementing ERAS protocols, creating OR mock codes, and planning an OR wide education day.
Dr. Morris’ favorite IAMG memory is when the anesthesia tech played a prank on her by taping all her equipment to the walls and anesthesia machine! Other fun memories with her team include summertime backyard pool parties, Superbowl parties, and epic work barbeques. “We get things done but have a good time doing it. The staff is my second family and we always have time to laugh together.”
Outside of work, Dr. Morris loves baking, crafting, and sharing quality time with her family. She was born and raised in Orange County and is the youngest of three daughters. In the coming months, she will be celebrating her 18th wedding anniversary and son’s 16th birthday. Around the holidays, the hospital staff anticipates her famous Christmastime baking and last year she had a cookie count of 2,000!
